Morning Session (8:30-11:45):
Ethics and Boundaries- Protecting Clients and Yourself:
Join Dana to review the ACA and NASW Code of Ethics for guidance on boundary issues, specifically with regards to Social Media. Discussion will involve the pros and cons of Social Media use by clinicians, beliefs and assumptions about Social Media and other related boundary situations and appropriate courses of action.

Afternoon Session (1:00-4:15):
The Ethics of Couples Work :
Holly’s engaging and interactive training will explore ethical issues involving couples work and our professional responsibilities as clinicians. Discussion will involve the ACA and NASW Code of Ethics and consideration of special challenges encountered by clinicians in their professional work.

The Balanced Life, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6838. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Refund, Cancellation and Postponement Policy

Refunds:
If a refund is requested by the participant a refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be provided assuming the request is received at least two weeks in advance of the event. All cancellations must be in writing and should be emailed to dana@thebalancedlifellc.com. No refunds will be issued if the request is received less than two weeks prior to the training event. If a participant fails to attend the seminar, no refunds or transfers will be issued.

Cancellations:
If The Balanced Life, LLC cancels a seminar, a full refund will be provided. The Balanced Life, LLC reserves the right to cancel any seminar due to low enrollment.

Postponements:​
At times, postponing a seminar may be unavoidable. If a seminar is postponed, all registered will have the option to attend the seminar on the newly scheduled date, or have their registration transferred to another seminar of their choice within the next 12 months. No refunds will be given. If a seminar is not attended within that 12-month period, transfer of paid registration to another seminar is forfeited.

By enrolling, regardless of payment method, means that you agree to and will adhere to the refund, cancellation and postponement policy.
