Overview: In this training participants will learn the cognitive behavior therapy model for working with clients who experience procrastination as a stumbling block to reaching goals and living a more fulfilled life. Based on the book by Monica Ramirez Bascom, PhD, and renowned CBT expert, The Procrastinator’s Guide to Getting Things Done is CBT based and is practical, simple, and useful in our work as therapists. This interactive and fun creative training is one you won’t want to miss!

1. Overview of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).
2. Understanding the meaning behind procrastination.
3. Addressing fears, perfectionism, and disorganization.
4. Identify types of procrastination and procrastinators.
5. Addressing procrastination in relationships.
6. Identify how to treat and help clients (& ourselves) to overcome procrastination and get things done, to include interventions and handouts.

Refund, Cancellation and Postponement Policy

If a refund is requested by the participant a refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be provided assuming the request is received at least two weeks in advance of the event. All cancellations must be in writing and should be emailed to dana@thebalancedlifellc.com. No refunds will be issued if the request is received less than two weeks prior to the training event. If a participant fails to attend the seminar, no refunds or transfers will be issued.

If The Balanced Life, LLC cancels a seminar, a full refund will be provided. The Balanced Life, LLC reserves the right to cancel any seminar due to low enrollment.

At times, postponing a seminar may be unavoidable. If a seminar is postponed, all registered will have the option to attend the seminar on the newly scheduled date, or have their registration transferred to another seminar of their choice within the next 12 months. No refunds will be given. If a seminar is not attended within that 12-month period, transfer of paid registration to another seminar is forfeited.
