Helpful Information for Our Clients
Location
Our office is conveniently located at 1101 McMurtrie Dr. Suites A3 and D4, Huntsville, AL 35806. We are behind the Super Target on University Drive, between University Drive and Research Park.
Most of our team is housed in the A3 suite. In D4 are the offices of Holly Walker, Lacy Pezzaniti, Cierra Washington-Kelly and Maggie Minsk.
When you arrive at the office park, A 3 is in the first two story building. Look for our sign outside our entry door. D4 is diagonal across the parking lot, at the end of the D building. We have a sign there as well.
In the A3 suite, we have water and a restroom in the lobby. In D4, the restroom and water fountain are located inside the hallway heading to the counselors offices.
When you arrive in A3, please wait in the reception area immediately to your right at the top of the stairs. You will be immediately in the lobby in D4 when you come in the front door. There is a kiosk to check in for your session in both suites. Please check in and wait for your counselor to come get you.
In the landing outside the A3 lobby, we have a kid’s area, complete with art supplies, puzzles, and books. In both offices, we encourage you to relax, enjoy the music or read a magazine until your counselor comes to get you for your session. We do ask that you silence your cell phone and hold conversations in a quiet voice.
Insurance
All of our clinicians are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. This includes Blue Cross Federal, Peehip and All Kids. Individual therapists may take other insurances but you will need to confirm with that therapist. Please contact us to confirm that we take your specific insurance plan and to verify coverage for mental health counseling prior to starting counseling services. We will file claims directly to your insurance company as a courtesy to you. However, it is your responsibility to provide us with up-to-date information, including any changes in your policy while you are working with us. It is also your responsibility to pay any amount not covered by your insurance.
For clients who we are out of network for, your counselor can provide you with a “Super Bill” which is a detailed invoice for services that you can send to your insurance company to attempt to recoup some of your out of pocket cost. All required payments (co-insurance, deductible or full out of pocket fee) for services are due at the time service is rendered. Marital counseling is not covered by insurance. We realize that choosing us to help you work through an issue in life is an investment of time, energy and money and we strive to be good stewards of all three.
