Chris Herrin
Hello, I’m Chris and I am interning at The Balanced Life, LLC under the supervision of Dana Hampson while completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama. I care about creating a space where you can be honest about your story. Some parts might feel heavy, some may have shifted, and some might still be taking shape. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
I often work with people carrying loss, rethinking faith, or finding their way through change. I’m especially drawn to conversations around grief, religious trauma and deconstruction, and the quiet weight that can come with fatherhood.
Healing is a quiet rewriting of what it means to be whole. It’s the slow work of seeing your story with new eyes and finding meaning in places you once only felt pain. It grows through honesty, connection, and the steady work of showing up for yourself. Wherever you find yourself, I’ll meet you there with curiosity, compassion, and patience for the season you’re walking through.
To schedule an appointment, call or text 256-273-9328 or send me an email. I look forward to working with you!
