If you feel depressed, sad, numb, anxious, have negative thoughts about yourself, or can’t quite put your finger on it, you probably wish things could be different. I’m here to tell you they can be! At times do you feel helpless, hopeless, worthless, or a combination of the three? If so, I applaud you for taking the important step of seeking a therapist.
I specialize in treating individuals with depression & anxiety, those who are “people pleasers”, couples experiencing relationship challenges, and co-parenting & blended family issues. I see adults ages 19 and up and enjoy working with individuals and couples.
I joined The Balanced Life, LLC in 2015 and knew from day one that it was the right decision and have never looked back. With the amazing privilege of helping others, I love the counseling profession and all it has to offer my clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor and hold a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Indiana University and Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, Nashville. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), healthy lifestyle approach, and positive psychology.
My philosophy is that counseling is a collaborative effort between client and counselor and that together, goals are reached. I strive to provide a warm accepting environment that brings hope and healing to some of life’s most difficult experiences.
