Lacy Pezzaniti, ALC
Hello! My name is Lacy Pezzaniti, and I am an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC). I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Alabama in 2024. I am an Independent Contractor practicing under the supervision of Holly Walker, LPC-S.
I work with individuals who are seeking not only relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions, but also a deeper understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped them. I especially enjoy supporting clients as they begin to recognize the strengths that often develop alongside difficult seasons of life and learn how those strengths can become part of lasting change.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) techniques within a broader, meaning-focused framework. I believe therapy can be both practical and reflective; supporting clients in building skills for change while also exploring the deeper patterns, values, and experiences that shape their identities. Together, we may look at patterns that repeat in relationships, identity questions that feel unresolved, or parts of your story that are still waiting to be understood. I view therapy as a space where insight and healing can unfold at the same time.
I am committed to providing LGBTQ+-affirming care and approach each client with warmth, curiosity, and cultural humility. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they make sense of their experiences, develop trust in their own voice, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and connected.
