If you're dealing with intense emotions, feelings of abandonment, unstable relationships, impulsive and possibly self-damaging behaviors, difficulties in controlling anger, feelings of emptiness, moodiness, stress, paranoia, and even suicidal ideation - I can help. I help clients every day who have a history of trauma (even multiple and severe traumas) and who really struggle in dealing with other people and with communicating effectively. I help those who are really in need of making life changes and those who are just in search of understanding. I help couples who want to strengthen their relationships. I can help you.
I specialize in helping people work through trauma, communicate more effectively, and use hypnosis to be successful faster! I use various therapies including: client-centered, holistic, strengths-based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and heart rate variability (HRV). I also utilize behavioral analysis, psychoeducation, empathic listening, and mindfulness to help my clients.
I started with my internship in the outpatient mental health clinic connected to the Naval Hospital on Camp Lester in Okinawa, Japan. After graduate school, I worked in North Carolina for over 10 years- first in large agencies and then in private practice in Wake Forest. I moved to North Alabama in 2018 and joined the TBL team. Call TODAY to set up an appointment @ 256-258-7777 x 103 or email. I look forward to talking with you!
